Diabetes risk assessment
Our clinics are dedicated to prevention of disease and illness. We can discover if you’re at risk for diabetes and help you avoid the disease by making changes to your lifestyle.

Prescription Review
In order to provide the best possible care and fulfil ethical and legal responsibilities we require that you attend a consultation with your doctor to receive repeat prescriptions for medications.

Medical Certificates
Our doctors can provide medical certificates as long as you attend a consultation for assessment. Medical certificates cannot be given retrospectively.

It is illegal for a doctor to issue a medical certificate without a consultation with the patient.

Diabetes Risk Assessment and Management
Diabetes management requires awareness. Our doctors know what makes your blood sugar levels rise and fall and how to control these day-to-day factors.

MyClinic’s highly experienced GPs recognise the importance of managing the four major areas of diabetes management:

• blood glucose
• lipids
• body weight
• blood pressure

Our GPs use medications if required, encourage increased exercise levels and provide patient counselling, as do the Practice Nurses.

Iron Infusions
Our doctors are able to refer patients who require Iron Infusions to the MyClinics who perform these. There is an out-of-pocket cost to the patient.  These are done in the clinic and the patient can resume normal activities afterwards. Speak to your Doctor if you require one.
